I am a qualified change and programme management professional with over 15 years experience of managing, leading and advising on large scale, global projects and programmes. I support Board Level and Senior Leaders within organisations, to determine the right approach to changing their businesses and ensuring that any change lands in the most comprehensive way. There is never a "one size fits all" approach to change. Each sector, organisation, department and colleague is different and receptive to change in different ways.

Team Coaching
You can have the best people working for you, but combined as a team, may not work out the way you expected. I help clients and teams determine strengths, weaknesses and characteristics of their colleagues and understand how they could work better together or where there are gaps to be filled.

Design and deliver bespoke workshops
A workshop is a significant cost to your organisation. Typically, getting a group of 6 Senior Leaders in a room for 1/2 day costs c.£3000 in their time alone, before accommodation, facilitation and resources are even included, and you're taking colleagues away from their day job where they could be generating income. It is critical everyone gets the most out of their time in this situation, and it is genuinely possible to have fun in the process!

I work with clients to determine the sought after outcomes/ goals and then design the workshop around what works for the people in the room on the day. Every activity is carried out with tangible actions, completion dates and owners. A goal is just a wish without a plan.

Ensuring your portfolio succeeds
Having a multitude of projects can be overwhelming. In some cases, organisations have a PMO that can support with ensuring projects are running on budget and risks are being recorded. However, do they check if stakeholders are bought in? Or if the project team are burning out? Or if the training has been received well? Potentially not.

I can undertake a collaborative and supportive review of a portfolio of projects with relevant project team members and stakeholders to ensure projects are on track to receive sought after benefits and to ensure they're adequately resourced and supported.

I review quantitative and qualitative data from various sources to provide you with an overview of a project's health with suggestive improvements to ensure project success.
Change tool kit
Every organisation is different and appreciates a varied approach to managing change, based upon the working practices and governance methodologies that are already in place. I take my tools and your insight about what what already works well for your organisation, to produce a refined set of tools, templates and processes that can be used by colleagues across the organisation.

Some clients may just need support with stakeholder engagement and communications strategies. I'm here to help regardless of how large or small the toolkit needs to be.

Getting back on track
If a project has gone live but outcomes have not been met, this could be due to a change not "landing" with colleagues. A project may also be seeking support on it's journey to going live if engagement is not where it needs to be.

I support businesses to review the sought after outcomes and then analyse the current state of the project by liaising with the project team, stakeholders and sponsors. Once I have the background information needed I will determine the appropriate action plan and strategy to get the change back on track. From leading the correction with your team, to advising companies/ project teams on what to do, I can be flexible to ensure the right approach is adopted.

Strategic Planning and Change Analysis
I work with a variety of clients to advise and guide on future change strategies and project / portfolio planning to determine sought after benefits. When required, I also conduct change impact assessments so we can really determine the overall effort, viability of a change and associated cost implications vs the business case.

Follow up support is provided to ensure actions are carried out and next steps continued.

My approach - Keep it simple
From the outset of every project and programme I aim to ensure the business actually "want" a change. Sponsors and Leaders drive change through an organisation and it's my job to ensure they get the support they need to do this.

I've worked across multiple sectors including Utilities, Aviation, Media, Healthcare, Education and Publishing. Of course every sector is different in multiple ways. However, they are all the same in one. Change is only successful when colleagues and/or users are on board and engaged. Users are busy people and need the change to be as simple and comprehensive as possible. Everyone, no matter which industry, or role, appreciates simplicity.
